Challenge

The challenge in this project was to optimize the inconsistent exposed concrete surfaces caused by formwork impressions and fluctuations in the recipe. Color differences and unevenness affected the overall picture. With the help of precise concrete retouching, these flaws were eliminated, creating an even and harmonious surface. In order to protect the exposed concrete from environmental influences in the long term and at the same time preserve the aesthetics, a special glaze was applied that subtly emphasized the texture of the concrete and created a subtle deepening of the color.
