Our task
Concrete cosmetics with increased requirements for structured and smooth exposed concrete surfaces of exposed concrete class SB3. Cleaning and cleaning of all exposed concrete surfaces. Surface-friendly cleaning of exposed concrete with board formwork structure. Removing concrete overhangs and forming structured surfaces. Closing anchor cones on structured surfaces and local imitation of the board formwork structure.
Color adjustment of the closed anchor holes using exposed concrete retouching for a homogeneous appearance. Closing holes & gravel nests. Straightening edge runs.

Preserve natural beauty - preserve delicate structures in exposed concrete

Challenge
After carefully removing the board formwork, the challenge is to preserve the finest filigree structures when refinishing and cleaning the exposed concrete surfaces. It is important to use gentle cleaning methods and agents to avoid damage or wear. The natural grain and texture of the wood, which is visible on the concrete surface, is deliberately used as a design element in modern architecture.

Exposed concrete cosmetics & processing

In the historical ambience of Sanssouci Park, the architects Bruno Fioretti Marquez from Berlin have set a design accent for the University of Potsdam campus. The new building at the new palace impresses with its combination of modern design and the aesthetic quality of exposed concrete surfaces with a fine board formwork structure. The delicate natural grain and texture of wood on the concrete surface conveys naturalness and organic aesthetics.
