Our task
We had the honor of working with the precast manufacturer to design and fabricate approximately 18,000 square meters of exposed concrete for a facade featuring a structure clad in smooth and textured panels, and Class 4 exposed concrete, featuring black concrete and shades of gray, as well as in numerous interior rooms, office partitions, test benches, and performance areas.

BECONART is off to a flying start once again. The project begins in just 7 days. 18,000 square meters of construction

Challenge
The particular challenge lay in the project’s scale and the implementation timeline. Approximately 18,000 square meters of exposed concrete were designed, glazed, refined, and treated within three months by up to 18 employees and various teams. Through close coordination with finishing craftsmen, on-site logistics, construction workers, and users—all working together in three shifts—what initially seemed nearly impossible became a reality. The result is a high-quality exposed concrete surface above large facade areas such as offices and lobbies.

Exposed Concrete Products and Preparations

The Marienwerder Science and Technology Park, an innovation hub headquartered in Germany, was established for a major player in the global automotive industry. The administration and research and development departments are located there on a site covering approximately 35,000 square meters, comprising seven individual buildings with a total floor area of 34,000 square meters.
